The Presidio Nationals 12U Little League Team traveled to Colorado City for the Boys 12U Tight Base State Tournament July 16th through 20th .
The Presidio Nationals played Coahoma Rangers 11-0, Colorado City Astros 13-3, Comanche Indians 7-2 and Hico Lugnuts 11-0. The Presidio Nationals 12U Little League Team brought home the State Championship trophy. Fidel Baea, one of the coaches, cited their batting and pitching to their success. Their toughest game was against the Indians, but the Nationals were able to hold them back in the fifth inning. Their last game lasted four innings, which resulted in victory.
