Socorro Portillo Elguezabal, 94, of Presidio passed away at her residence on Saturday, September 1, 2018.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, September 8 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Father Raymundo Pacheco will officiate.
Mrs. Elguezabal was born in El Paso on October 30, 1923.
She was a resident of Presidio for many years.
She is survived by daughters, Merced E. Ornelas, Carmen Elquezabal, Cristina E. Granado, sons Juan Francisco Elguezabal, Jr., Jose Elguezabal and Blas Antonio Elguezabal.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francisco Elguezabal, a daughter, Socorro E. Hernandez; three sisters, Carmen Amparan, Beatrice Ramos and Consuelo Ortega; two brothers, Juan C. Portillo and Jose C. Portillo. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
