Lady XC Devils take 6 in Lubbock

PRESIDIO, LUBBOCK – The Presidio Lady Blue Devils varsity cross country team placed sixth at the High Plains XC meet in Lubbock on Saturday with Ivett Ramos breaking into the top 10 finishers, coming eighth across the finish line. A total 20 area teams completed, sending 170 runners. “The girls represented Presidio very well,” Coach Samaniego said. Here are the individual results: Ivett Ramos, 8th place, 13:04.7; Crystal Barriga, 13th place, 13:17.9; Andrea Navarrete, 52nd place, 13:55.1; Daniela Valenzuela, 57th place, 13:59.9; Judith Bustamante, 58th place, 14:00; Alejandra Valles 66^th , place 14:10.3; Sofia Garcia, 77^th , place 14:29.2.
