PRESIDIO – Association of Texas Small School Bands Region 6 band auditions took place Saturday Dec. 8th in Greenwood. The competition was intense, but our students performed admirably.
Ten Presidio High School students competed and 7 of them made the Region Band with two advancing to the next level, which is the area competition in Lubbock in January.
Please congratulate these kids because this is a big honor that took many hours of hard work & practice.
The following students made the All-Region Band: Jamila Tibayan, 9th, Clarinet; Loven Omar, 9th, Alto Saxophone; Isabel Subia, 10th, Trumpet; Adrian Escontrias, 11th, Percussion; Jose Armendariz, 10th, Percussion; Michael Hernandez, 9th, Tuba (Advanced to Area Competition); Octavio Padron, 9th, Tuba (Advanced to Area Competition).
