Juan Muñoz Samaniego, age 98, of Odessa, passed away at Seabury Center in Odessa on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.
He was born in Presidio on July 15, 1920 to the late Jose and Benigna (Samaniego) Muñoz. He was a farmer and rancher.
He is survived by his sons Enrique Muñoz, Oscar Muñoz and wife Maria de Jesus, and Arturo Muñoz; daughter Guadalupe Muñoz Rueda and husband Angel; her caregiver and granddaughter Nidia Rodriguez and 19 more grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
His parents, siblings, and son: Juan de Dios “LaLan” Muñoz precede him in death.
Funeral services will be at a later date in Ojinaga, Mexico with interment at El Ultimo Refugio.
Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
