PRESIDIO – The Presidio driver’s license office is open once again and is located at the same space, 800 W Cassell Street #1.

Alma Martin has come out of retirement to run the office the two days it is open, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30am-5pm, closed for lunch.

Martin has 28 years of experience in this line of work.

And you don’t have to be a Presidio resident to do business at the Presidio office.

“Anybody can go to renew a driver’s license and get ID cards, take written driving tests, do their driving tests,” said Martin.

She added that the driving tests must be scheduled online before they can be taken.

Or, “I can schedule for you when you come in with your paperwork,” Martin said.

She added

that the commercial driving license test or CDL written test can be taken in her office, but the driving test must be taken at specific offices, not in Presidio. That office will be assigned when one enrolls online.
