Presidio, Alpine students attending Sul Ross awarded Bechtel book grants

PRESIDIO, BREWSTER counties – The Board of Directors of the Bechtel Fund met over the weekend and awarded $5,500 in book grants to students from Presidio and Alpine attending Sul Ross State University for the Spring 2019 semester.

A credit of $500 for each student listed below has been set up at the Sul Ross Bookstore:

PRESIDIO

Alfonso Perez Anaya, Jonathan Carrasco, Nathalia Melendez, and Gerardo Sanchez.

ALPINE

Marc Anthony Miranda, Michelle H. Ramos, Samantha Osiris Sanchez, Skyler Glenn Short, Chani E. Spear, and Santiago Castillo.

James E. Cook II, a Sul Ross GED student, was also awarded a book grant.
