PRESIDIO – Students from the Lucy Rede Franco Middle School Band program received the honor of being selected for the Region 6 Middle School Band Festival on January 25-26 in Crane.
The final concert performance was held at the Crane High School Auditorium at 3 p.m. to a packed house which included many families from Presidio. Students performing in the Division 3A Region Band were: on flute- Kenya Hernandez, 8th grade & Laisa Arevalo, 8th grade; on clarinet- Valerie Armendariz, 7th grade; on Alto Saxophone-Aylani Galindo, 7th grade; on Trumpet- Syrah Omar, 8th grade & Domingo Rios, 7th grade; on French Horn- Irene Subia, 8th grade; on Percussion- Eduardo Flores, 7th grade.
