Rigo Treviso and several city public works department staffers are planting 80 pecan trees this week at the Presidio Athletic Center Park. Two species of pecans are being planted, Wichita and Western. These two varieties will complement each other in pollination. The trees came from Womack Nursery in De Leon, Texas.
