ALPINE – The Lady Blue Devils Varsity Track team competed at the Alpine Bucks Fighting Relays on Saturday. It was a great day for the Lady Devils as they tied for 1st place as the meet team Champions with Fort Stockton.
The top athletes in this division were Daniela Valenzuela #1 (40 points) and Alejandra Valles #2 (28 points). Daniela Valenzuela won 5 gold medals (long jump, triple jump, 200 meter dash, 4×200 relay and 4×400 relay). Alejandra Valles won 2 gold and a silver medal (gold in 800 meter run, silver in 400 meter run and gold in the 4×400 relay). The girls will be competing in their last practice meet at the Crane Relays this Saturday March 30, 2019. Please come support the Lady Blue Devils on their last preseason track meet. Thank you
