PRESIDIO – Teachers have the very important responsibility of shaping the lives of young, impressionable children. With this responsibility comes great pride and joy. Therefore, all teachers should strive for what can be considered to be a “good teacher”. A good teacher can be defined as someone who always pushes students to want to do their best while at the same time trying to make learning as well as creative.
Mrs. Erika Aguilar is such a teacher. For the past two years Mrs. Aguilar has taught at Lucy Rede Franco Middle School (LRFMS) in the position of 6th grade Math teacher. During her first year of teaching she volunteered her time to coach our Robotics team. In Addition to performing her job at an exemplary level, Erika takes it upon herself to provide exceptional support and education to her students. She quickly recognizes their individual needs and moves efficiently to provide an appropriate education conducive to their needs.
LRMS is lucky to have such a great addition to our family.
