Portraits of Alcario and Rosa Valenzuela Sr. were on display during the Valenzuela Centennial Party during Memorial Day weekend. The couple purchased the family property paralleled to the creek near Galveston Street for $60 100 years ago. The alley that runs through the Valenzuela’s property was recently named Valenzuela Trail with the approval of Marfa City Council.
