MARFA — The Marfa First Presbyterian Church will hold an evening of guitar and violin on October 22 at 6 p.m. at the church, 110 E. Columbia Street. Admission is free with a reception immediately following.
The event will feature duets and arrangements for violin and classical guitar spanning late 19th century to contemporary styles. Culminating in a world premiere by Texas-based composer Claire Glass, the program features eclectic selections that share ethereal sonic qualities evoking dreamlike states.
