Master of needlework gifted crafty creations

Victoria Molinar Holguin, 91, from Alpine passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. Her life’s work was her family, finding her greatest fulfillment in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She dedicated her life to creating a warm and safe home for those she comforted and helped.
She was an incredibly strong woman, while small in stature, who raised and provided what she could to five children through her hard-working hands as a housekeeper, babysitter, cook, and reputable seamstress. She was a master of all needle works and crafty creations. She could make something beautiful out of almost anything. Later in life she ran her little pop-up craft store out of her home, long before pop-ups became a thing, mostly gifting her treasured creations.
She is survived by her two sisters, Flora and Socorro; her daughters Teresa (Terry), Cecilia (Cissy) husband Macky, and Maria (Kiki); her grandchildren Jonas, Camilla, Monique, Hector, Jr., Jesus, Jr., Javier, Daniel, Victoria, Rozalia, Adela, and Vicente; 21 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by a vast number of friends who considered her like their mother and grandmother because of her selfless way of helping even when she had so little. She truly endeared them and stole their hearts.
She quickly became a cherished and loved family member at the McCamey Convalescent Center where staff and residents alike did not think their day was complete until they received a personal blessing from Miss Victoria as they sought her out for their daily “bendicion.”
She is preceded in death by her two sons, Hector Holguin (Eva), Jesus Holguin (Annabel), her first grandson, Augustine Holguin; her father, Ramon Molinar; mother, Carolina Molinar; sisters Aubina, Simona, Fe, Josefina, Juanita, Carolina; her twin brother, Faustino; brothers Ramon, Florencio, and Juan.
She will be missed and remembered fondly by all whose hearts she touched.
