The Marfa Independent School District School Board is still seeking letters of interest to fill a vacancy left by Place 1 Trustee Stela Fuentez, who resigned from the board in January.
Those interested in serving on the board should review the following qualifications and submit a letter of interest addressed to Board President Philip Boyd and the Marfa ISD Board of Trustees. The letter must be hand delivered to the superintendent’s office at 400 W. Lincoln Street by 4 p.m. Friday, February 13. There will be a school board meeting on Monday, February 16, to review the potential candidates.
