She has been running for me for the past two years. She is an amazing runner and is always up for the challenge. No matter what kind of day she is having she always has a smile on her face. I know she will do great things for Western Texas very proud of her and her accomplishments.

Alondra Olivas, senior – She competed in the 4×100 and 4×200 relays. This was her first year to come out and be part of the track program. She has improved tremendously since day one. She always gave it her all in practice and on the track. She was always ready for competition. I really enjoyed having her on the team and I got to know her a lot more. She will be attending Odessa College.   I know she will do great things with her future. These were her exact words” Coach I am going to become very rich and I am going to live in Seattle lol”.

Jennifer Flores, senior – She competed in the 4×100 and 4×200 relays. She has been a Lady Devil for the past 6 years. She is an outstanding runner and the second fastest girl in the relays. Always smiling and working hard to get better. She will be attending Midland College and major in Accounting. She is an outstanding runner. I enjoyed coaching and seeing her run for the past 6 years. Very proud of the young lady she had become. I know she has a bright future in front of her and will do great things.

Katelyn Valenzuela, junior – She will be returning for the upcoming season. I have been coaching her since 7th grade. She is a very smart young lady that has a lot of dedication, works hard and never complains. She is a very strong girl she never gives up and has finished every race with everything she’s got but most importantly with heart. Looking forward to seeing her run her senior year and working her way to compete at the State Track Meet once more.

She is very competitive and willing to leave everything on the track and never backs down competition. Looking forward to seeing her compete and working her way to State.

I am very proud of every individual for all their hard work. It was not easy making it to State but they fought to make it this far. I am going to miss the seniors and will be hard to replace. But happy they will take and cherish the memory of when they made it to State in two relays and made school history. Thank you, Ladies, for being our ticket to State. We enjoyed watching you run. Thank you for making this a fun season with a lot of memories. Looking forward to the upcoming season I know you will do great things.
