PRESIDIO – The City of Presidio Library was presented a check in the amount of $192 from donations collected at the Bealls store in Presidio.
The check was presented by Dominga Jimenez, store manager, to Carmen Elguezabal, Library Director.
The 30 Days of Giving in April is a program that has been successful and raised more than $7 million nationwide for over 1,000 local organizations across the country. Bealls store associates were thrilled to offer guests an opportunity to donate to library.
The money will be used for the children’s summer reading program during the last week of July.
“I am very happy to have applied for and been given the opportunity for the donation for the library,” said Elguezabal.
