PRESIDIO – All four Presidio Blue Devils cross country teams took top honors at the Bo Coffman Memorial cross-country meet held this last Thursday August 23 in Presidio. The Blue Devils Varsity and JV teams were the team champions for the 4th consecutive year. In addition, four Lady Blue Devils and Blue Devils were first in their races, including Ivett Ramos, Judith Bustamante, Marco Rey and Lenny Marquez. Competitors came to the border community from around the Big Bend and included Van Horn, Alpine, Pecos, Marathon, Monahans, Ft. Davis, Ft. Stockton and Buena Vista. The meet is named in memory of Bo Coffman, a beloved Presidio educator and counselor who passed away to cancer and is remembered as being a caring public school teacher who inspired his students, loved his family, school, and community and was an avid runner.
