PRESIDIO, BREWSTER, JEFF DAVIS counties -Sul Ross State University undergraduate students who graduated from high school or were home-schooled in Brewster, Jeff Davis and Presidio counties are encouraged to apply for the Bechtel Book Grant.
The grant provides students with funds to purchase books and other school supplies from the Sul Ross University Book Store.
Grants recently awarded were in the amount of $500 per student.
Requirements for eligibility (including residency) are a minimum 3.0 GPA, being an undergraduate student, and at least 24 hours of college work completed.
