Wile Lara Carnero 90 of Presidio went peacefully to be with her Savior on February 19, 2019. She was born May 9, 1928 in Maryneal, Texas to Enrique Lara and Maria Rodriguez. Wile was a ray of sunshine and full of energy. She loved to play jokes on others and bring a smile to their face. She loved spending time outside in her garden. She was very outspoken, she always said what was on her mind whether you liked it or not and she was one of the biggest sport fanatics. She would never miss a game and always made sure she looked her best.
She is preceded in death by her parents Enrique Lara and Maria Rodriguez, her husband Jesus Carnero, her beloved son Artemio Carnero and grandson Jorge Dominguez.
She is survived by her nine children Guadalupe and husband Esmundo Tavarez, Norma and husband Alfredo Dominguez, Maria Ramirez and Manuel Carnero of Odessa, Josefina and husband Carlos Pando of Ulysses, Kansas., Jesus Carnero and wife Yolanda of Grand Prairie, Margarita and husband Patricio Prieto of Alpine, Agueda and husband Alfredo Muñiz of Presidio, and Martina Carnero also of Presidio.Thirty grandchildren survive her as well as 46 great- grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Visitations where held at La Paz Perches Funeral Home Wednesday, February 20, 2019 with a Rosary that evening.
Visitations continued at Santa Teresa Catholic church in Presidio, on February 21, 2019 with Rosary.
Funeral Services were held February 22 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Presidio, with burial following at Desert hill Cemetery in Presidio.
Pallbearer’s were Antonio Contreras, Adam Muñiz, Roman Muñiz, Jorge Carnero, Alfredo Dominguez Jr., Esmundo Tavarez Jr., Damian E. Ramirez and Gilberto Ramirez.
