PRESIDIO – Early voting for City of Presidio begins Monday, April 22 from 8am to 5pm at City Hall at 507 West O’Reilly Street. Early voting will run from the 22 to the 30, with extended voting hours taking place Friday, April 26 and Monday, April 29 from 7am to 7pm.

Presidio residents will cast ballots for the uncontested mayoral race of incumbent John Ferguson, and choose two city council members. Irvin Olivas, Jeffrey Roberts, and Rogelio Zubia are running, and the two highest vote getters will earn seats on the Presidio City Council.

Presidio residents will also vote on whether the city will reorganize from a General Law Type A government charter to a “Home Rule” charter.

The Presidio Independent School District school board has four seats up for election, but candidates Ethel Barriga, Yvonne Spencer, Hugo Ramos, and Fidel M.
