Made in Marfa is a showcase of diverse, creative talent presented by the residents and businesses of Marfa at a wide range of venues. It is organized and promoted by the Chinati Foundation.

The sixth annual city-wide event takes place this year on Friday, October 11 during Chinati Weekend, the museum’s fall celebration, and features open studios, food, art, craft, music, performances and exhibition openings.  The event begins at 5:00 pm.

There is no charge to participate. All full-time residents and businesses of Marfa are invited and encouraged to join.

Made in Marfa will be promoted in the museum’s advertising for the weekend, including Chinati’s website, social media, and newspaper ads as well as in printed posters, flyers, and programs. Additionally, a Made in Marfa map listing participating venues will be distributed to hotels, businesses, and organizations throughout the area.

Participants must provide their own venue and submit full details about their event by August 30, 2019 in order to be listed in Chinati’s promotional materials. Participation is limited to full-time residents, businesses, and organizations based in Marfa.
