Calling all girls grades K through 12th – Girl Scouts is looking for new members! Girl Scouts has not closed during the pandemic; they are open and ready to bring the ultimate Girl Scout experience. The organization says joining a troop is a way to make new friends, gain self-confidence and learn new things.
This year there’s a special twist: girls can now experience Girl Scouts for free! Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest is offering a free one-year membership, and it is easy to join. What can Girl Scouts do during COVID-19? Girls are invited to join virtual troop meetings, program challenges, make new friends, earn badges and inspire others. Girls can join in the virtual fun for free and join a troop in person at a later date. Visit their website for a full calendar of events.
