What to know about this year’s PISD yearbooks

PRESIDIO — Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, yearbook sales are off to a late start this year at Presidio High School. But nonetheless, student yearbook staff — including Kelly Baeza, Mirtha Carrasco, Nadia Dominguez, Elizabeth Lozano, Andrea Proaño, Bianca Quiroz and Ever Renteria — wish to assure the student-body public that they’re working hard to produce another great yearbook this year.

As always, the yearbook will be ready and delivered by the end of the school year. But given the unusual circumstances of the past few months, details like ordering and photo submission will work a bit differently.

With some students working from home for much of the year, the yearbook staff is encouraging parents to share pictures of their kids hard at work in at-home classrooms. Those photos can be submitted to teacher Sophia Hernandez by email at shernandez@presidio-isd.net.

Due to social distancing concerns, yearbook staff are also encouraging people to order their yearbooks online by visiting ybpay.lifetouch.com. The deadline to order a yearbook is Friday, March 12. The ID code needed to order one is 12583221. Enter the code online, at the Presidio High School yearbook will appear for purchase.

The cost of this year’s 2020-2021 is $45. Yearbook staff also has a limited number of senior ads available for proud parents wishing to feature their graduates. Information on sizes and pricing are available at the same place online, ybpay.lifetouch.com. Any further questions can be directed to Hernandez, the yearbook teacher, at the email provided above.
