FORT DAVIS — A new exhibition featuring the artwork of Dirk Fowler and his son Jackson will open Saturday, November 4, from noon to 4 p.m. at Webb’s Fair & Square, 105 N. Front St.

Sons of West Texas will feature the work of Lubbock-based Dirk Fowler, a letterpress and graphic artist, as well as his son Jackson, a tattoo and visual artist. Both will be in attendance.

The gallery will have available a selection of Dirk’s letterpress posters and original drawings by Jackson, who favors the single line drawings of old school flash art with an emphasis on symbols of the West.

A poster for Marfa Public Radio, designed by Dirk, will also be available for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the station. Weather permitting, a DJ set by Honky Tonk Happy Hour host David Branch will take place on the old Masonic Lodge’s front porch.
