REEVES COUNTY — After years of repairs and new construction, Balmorhea State Park announced last week that the campground is now open with reservable sites available to the public. Upgraded infrastructure includes improved water lines, electrical systems, paved areas, and the addition of a state-of-the-art dark sky compliant restroom facility.

Additionally, three new ADA accessible RV sites were added.The pool will be closed for annual cleaning May 6-10 and campers staying during those dates will not have access to the pool. Limited selection of online reservations will be available beginning May 2 with a full and expanded offering of sites available on May 11 after the pool is cleaned.
