MARFA — Marfa Invitational 2024 will open its sculpture park this weekend to the public with a free concert in conjunction with its annual art fair. The park — just east of Marfa where Golf Course Road hits Highway 90 — features a variety of sculptures situated in a large field in front of Sleeping Figure, a massive sculpture fashioned from shipping containers.
Noah Faulkner (aka Pedal Steel Noah) will perform a free concert for the public on Friday, May 10, at 7 p.m. The concert will be performed directly in front of Sleeping Figure.The Marfa Invitational, which launched in 2019, also attracts artists and visitors from around the world for its annual VIP events, including dinners and private showings.
