FOOTBALL — Marfa’s football squad is ready for another season as they head to Fort Davis Friday for several scrimmages. The outing is the first for new head coach Kevin Pippen. The team brings back leading rusher senior Derrick Campos and top blocker senior Diego Jurado, along with many new faces.
VOLLEYBALL — Tuesday night The Lady Horns dropped their home opener to Fort Davis and Van Horn 0-2 sets each. With the senior middle hitter Maryfer Martinez out for the season, the Lady Horns are going to rely heavily on their underclassmen to pick up the offensive production for the team and the young squad is up for the challenge.
