Dora Maria Arreola passed away Friday, August 16, in Marfa at the age of 66 years. She was born on April 4, 1958, to Armando and Maria Ramos in Ojinaga, Mexico.
She is survived by her husband, Herminio Arreola; three sons, Kenneth and wife Rosario of Pecos, Alan and wife Byanca of Midland, Gary and wife Yahaira of Midland; two daughters, Arlena Hernandez and husband Auden of Mulato, Chihuahua, Minerva Noriega and husband Arturo of Midland; brothers Armando Ramos, Homar Ramos, Mundo Ramos, Aurelio Ramos; sister Maria Campos; grandchildren, Alan A. Arreola and wife Taiz, Laiza A. Arreola and husband Macario, Mia J. Arreola, Azul A. Arreola, Luna S. Arreola, Sol I. Arreola, Ariela I, . Hernandez, Bella A. Hernandez, and Arturo G. Noriega; great-grandchild, Adalynn Y. Villareal.
She was preceded in death by father and mother Armando and Maria Ramos; brothers Jesus Ramos, Samuel Ramos and Javier Ramos; sister, Ninfa Polanco.
Visitation was on Monday, August 19, from 11 a.m. at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio with rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial took place at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10 a.m. Burial followed at Desert Hills Cemetery.
