ALPINE — The Fightin’ Alpine Bucks football program scrimmaged the McCamey Badgers at Buck Stadium on a beautiful evening in Alpine on August 16. Both programs were able to get live action work in against each other and work on the skills necessary to have success in the upcoming football season. Several players had stellar scrimmages, including Dae Hardwick, Iden Lujan, Devon Rojo, Seth Dutchover, Ethan Flores, Davian Fierro and Logan Smith. Devon Rojo was crisp in delivery of the football as the quarterback and commanded the team well. Logan Smith ran the ball well between the tackles for the Fightin’ Bucks.
The football team will travel to Pecos today to take on the Pecos Eagles in the final pre-season scrimmage of the fall in preparation for game one against Wellington.
