Herminio “Mini” Polanco Arreola passed away Tuesday, August 20, surrounded by his loving family in Presidio at the age of 66 years. He was born on February 27, 1958, to Leopoldo and Carlota Arreola in Ojinaga, Mexico.
He is survived by: his three sons, Kenneth and wife Rosario of Pecos, Alan and wife Byanca of Midland, Gary and wife Yahaira of Midland; two daughters, Arlena Hernandez and husband Auden of Mulato, Chihuahua, and Minerva Noriega and husband Arturo of Midland; brothers Edmundo Arreola and Leopoldo Arreola; sisters Lourdes Juarez, Delfina Chacon and Sulema Alvarado; grandchildren Alan A. Arreola and wife Taiz, Laiza A. Villareal and husband Macario, Mia J. Arreola, Azul A. Arreola, Luna S. Arreola, Sol I. Arreola, Ariela I. Hernandez, Bella A. Hernandez and Arturo G. Noriega; great-grandchild, Adalynn Y. Villareal. He was preceded in death by: his father and mother, Leopoldo and Carlota Arreola; wife, Dora Arreola; sister; Velia Villegas.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 23, 11 a.m. at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church in Presidio with Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Desert Hills Cemetery.
