Adela Garcia passed away peacefully with her children by her side at the age of 75, on August 16, 2024, after a strong fight against cancer. Adela was born on January 13, 1949, in Marathon, Texas, to Eustacio and Estela Macias. She was one of their five children.

Her survivors include her husband, Domingo Garcia; children, Ronald Garcia (Brenda Garcia), Rhonda Garcia, Rosie Haught (Shaun Haught), Celestine Garcia (Kalan Thomas); grandchildren, Kaylee Garcia, Taylor Annette Garcia, Alexis Ann Roberts, Elana Estell Haught; great-grandchildren, Abigail Sage Potter, Nathaniel Alexander Thomas, Avery Roberts, Kaiden Michael Thomas, Rosalie Roberts; and her siblings, Teofilo Macias (Beverly Macias), Sylvia Calanche, Manuel Macias (Olga Macias), Rosemary Gallegos (Ruben Gallegos); along with countless family and friends who loved her dearly.
