MIDLAND — Permian Basin Area Foundation has awarded $2,235,196 to nonprofit organizations serving West Texans during its fall community grant cycle.

Grants Officer Raymond Williams said, “These organizations provide valuable services that are unique to their own missions, though they all share one common virtue: humility. The work done by their staff, board members and volunteers who serve their clients with respect are all examples of service not in search of recognition, but out of a sense of responsibility to our communities. The Board of Permian Basin Area Foundation is pleased to help advance these worthy missions.”
