SANDERSON — Ferguson Motors, a cafe and event venue housed in an old Ford dealership, will celebrate its third anniversary and the grand reopening of Fordhouse Social, its gathering space, with a party at 5 p.m. this Friday, December 13.

The event venue side of the business was badly damaged by a tornado in June. Ferguson Motors owners Jake and Hannah Harper have been hard at work since rebuilding the structure with the help of local residents. Jake said with things finally returning to normal, they were looking forward to toasting to a new chapter of their business.

“We’re excited to get people out here to see the new and improved venue,” Jake said. “After all this tornado stuff we feel like we’ve put it back together better, and we’re excited to move forward and celebrate with everybody.”

There is no cover charge for the celebration, which will feature live music, food, beer and wine. The star-studded musical lineup includes Neil Trammell and The Doodlin’ Hogwallops, Ross Fleming, John Dunn, Doug Moreland, The Lavens, Ross Cashiola, Sid Sharp and more.

Ferguson Motors will be offering their full menu. The Sighting BBQ will offer three brisket queso specials. Event sponsors include the Desert Air Motel, Tall Texan Sotol, The Sighting BBQ, KLiQ Enterprises and the Sanderson Table.

Ferguson Motors is located at 111 W Oak Street in Sanderson.
