Dear Editor,
The Trump/Musk administration’s cuts to our national park system (430 parks, including the newest: Blackwell School NHS) will have a HUGE negative economic impact on West Texas communities. Sectors directly affected: restaurants, hotels, gasoline, groceries, recreation industries, retail, transportation, camping, etc. Cuts will result in a very negative tourist experience!
Why are our elected legislators allowing an unelected billionaire to devastate our local economies? Why aren’t they standing up against this?
