MARFA — The City of Marfa is accepting hotel occupancy tax (HOT) grant applications for arts and culture events, advertising reimbursements and historic preservation projects with a deadline of 5 p.m. Friday, March 21.
Grants will be awarded to events occurring from April 1 to September 30, 2025. Grants are awarded twice annually to organizations that directly promote tourism and the hotel and convention industry in Marfa.
Details on each grant opportunity — arts and culture, advertising reimbursement and historic preservation — and how to apply can be found on the city’s website. Applications must be submitted electronically via email to Tourism Director Jennifer Conners, jconners@cityofmarfa.com. Late applications will be considered based on availability of funds.
