Daniel R. Estrada Jr., 57, of Presidio, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Rosary/viewing was at 7 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at St Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church with Father Mike Alcuino of St. Teresa de Jesus Church officiating. Burial will follow at Desert Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home. Daniel R. Estrada Jr. was born in Alpine, Texas, to Daniel T. Estrada and Refujio R. Estrada on November 5, 1967. He went to school and graduated from Presidio High School. He worked as a bull hauler for Daniel Estradas Trucking all his life. He was involved in ranching, farming and roping. He received a buckle for all around best cowboy in Pecos, Texas, on the 4th of July.
Daniel R. Estrada Jr. is preceded in death by his father Daniel T. Estrada and grandparents Amador and Seferina T. Estrada.
Daniel R. Estrada Jr. is survived by: his children, Daniel J. Estrada III and wife Shannon Estrada; Diego J. Estrada and wife Justin Estrada; Dora Estrada and husband Fabian Viera; sister Velia E. Gilmer and husband Richard Gilmer; mother Refujio R. Estrada; grandchildren, McKynlea Rea Estrada, Anthony Cai Estrada, Luis Manuel Estrada, Tomas Ivan Estrada, Cataleya Camila Viera; nephews, Roman Gilmer and wife Nahely Gilmer and Bobby Gilmer and wife Danyale Gilmer.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Estrada III, Roman Gilmer, Bobby Gilmer, Samuel Sanchez, Francisco Brito and Franky Alvarado. The family of Daniel R. Estrada Jr. wishes to extend our sincere thanks to everyone that helped put everything together from the food, funeral expenses and funeral transportation.
