MARFA — Club Nowhere invites the public to DESERT. EARTH. SKY., an exhibition of photo works by local artist Liz Potter.
Club Nowhere is located at 401 S. Highland Ave. Potter’s show is the DIY art space’s fourth exhibition. There will be open viewings throughout the month of April on Fridays and Saturdays from 12 to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and by appointment.
The artist will host a demo this Sunday, April 13, at 1 p.m. of the Suminagashi technique she used on some of the work, which is free to all.
Potter is an Alpine, Texas, based artist experimenting with different photography techniques throughout the distant corners of the Trans-Pecos.

The exhibit includes four bodies of work centered around observance of nature in the Big Bend. From black and white landscape photography to abstract representations through the art of Suminagashi, the exhibit is a celebration and call to sit still and take in the beautiful desert region.
