MARFA — The Marfa Shorthorn Athletic Program wrapped up its 2024 – 2025 sports season in style with an evening of celebration and recognition at the annual Sports Banquet, hosted by the Marfa Athletic Booster Club. This year’s banquet took place at the newly renovated Marfa Activities Center, which provided a beautiful and spacious setting for the event. The upgraded facility added a touch of prestige to the night, perfectly matched by the students dressed in elegant attire — ranging from formal dresses and sports coats to cowboy hats and boots, reflecting the community’s unique spirit of elegance and rugged hardworkingness. The evening was memorable and picturesque for all.
The night’s events kicked off with a delicious brisket dinner, followed by a series of awards highlighting the achievements and dedication of Marfa’s student-athletes across all sports.
Marfa’s student-athletes and community members clapped and celebrated, as each award presented to Marfa’s Shorthorn athletes honored their exceptional achievements and unwavering dedication across all sports.
