Mayor Manny Baeza and Councilmember Travis Acreman were officially sworn in at City Hall last week to continue their roles on city council. Both were incumbents who filed for reelection unopposed. Baeza has served three two-year terms as mayor, having first been elected to the position in 2019. Acreman was elected to his first city council member term in 2023. Mayor Pro Tem Raul Lara will be sworn in this week. Baeza, Lara and Acreman will serve two-year terms which will expire in May 2027. Photos courtesy of Kelly Perez.
