TRI-COUNTY — Bishop Carlo A. Rapanut intends to appoint Pastor Salvador Perales to serve as the senior pastor of the First United Methodist churches in Alpine and Marfa, effective July 1. Pastor Perales is currently the associate pastor at Western Hills United Methodist Church in El Paso.
This announcement was made by Rev. Dr. Pamela Rowley, El Paso District superintendent, who called for prayer for Pastor Sal and his wife, Yadira Perales, and the churches of Alpine, Marfa and Western Hills UMC.
