Lupe Soza Brito, 88, a lifetime resident of Presidio, Texas, passed away at home on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at a later time at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Presidio. Lupe was born on April 14, 1937, in Presidio to Fernando Soza and Sabina Amada Herrera.
After graduating from Presidio High School, she worked at local stores. Lupita, as she was lovingly known, worked 20 years as clerical administrator for West Texas Utilities until her retirement. Her work ethic excelled as she served her community.
Lupe is preceded by her parents, Fernando and Sabina Soza, and her loving and only sister, Maria Dolores Urias. Lupe is survived by her son, Jose Antonio (Joe) and wife Margie Brito, from Seagoville, Texas, nieces and nephews.
