ALPINE — The Native Plant Society of Texas is planning a workday on Saturday, July 26, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Alpine Public Library to clear organic material, break the topsoil, mix in amendments and move some buffalo grass, among other tasks. 
Please bring gloves, a shovel, rake, pick, hat and plenty of water. Several volunteers with rototillers are needed to help break the top soil and mix in the amendments. If you cannot attend but have a tiller to lend, please let them know. Please reply to Tom Kennedy tkennedy071@gmail.com if you can attend.
