MARFA — The Marfa Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the 38th Annual Marfa Lights Festival, a musical celebration of our beloved Far West Texas community. This year’s festival will take place over Labor Day weekend, from Friday, August 29, through Sunday, August 31, at the Presidio County Courthouse.

The festivities begin Friday at 4 p.m., with the celebration continuing throughout the weekend. Attendees can look forward to a diverse lineup of musical talent, including performances by local favorites The Grand Tourists and Zona Mutante.

The party heats up on Saturday night with headlining performances from La Sombra and Asalto, who are sure to get the crowd dancing. Sunday will feature musical entertainment all day long, leading up to the highly anticipated Marfa Lights Festival Dance from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Marfa Activities Center (MAC) Building.

Entry to the festival is free for all ages, however, the dance is a ticketed event with prices ranging from $20 for a single bracelet, $35 for couples, and $100 for an 8-person table.
