October 19, 1953 to September 4, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rev. Beverley Anne O’Shaughnessy, who went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 4, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and faithful servant of God.

Rev. Beverley dedicated more than two decades of her life to ministry as an Anglican priest, shepherding her congregation with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Her commitment to God’s call was evident in every sermon preached, every hand held, and every life she touched. She was known for her gentle spirit, her words of encouragement, and her ability to bring comfort and hope to those in need.

Outside the church, she was a devoted mother and grandmother, finding her greatest joy in her family. Her love for her children and grandchildren was matched only by her faith in God, and she inspired all who knew her to live with grace, perseverance, and faithfulness.

Though she struggled with long-term illness, she remained steadfast and strong, facing each challenge with dignity and courage. Her passing was sudden, but she leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and service that will live on through her family, friends, and the many lives she touched in her ministry.

She is survived by her son, Ryan; her grandchildren, Hayden, Madison, and Riley; her sister, Jennifer; and her nephews, Keven and Jason, who will forever cherish her memory.

A service of thanksgiving for her life and ministry will be held at the Alpine Episcopal Church on Saturday, September 13, at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the church or the Alpine Animal Shelter, continuing her lifelong mission to serve others.
