Marcello Andres’ copitas and ceramics

MARFA—On October 10-12 during Chinati Weekend, art enthusiasts are invited to The Long Game, a new pop-up art gallery featuring the works of contemporary artist Kyle Steed.

Hosted at the Do Right Hall, this three-day installation will showcase new large-scale paintings from Steed’s recent Italian summer residence alongside a selection of intimate drawings from personal sketchbooks.

In addition to Steed’s pieces, the event will feature new sculptural work by special guest Marcello Andres, a masterful ceramicist who will debut a collection of large porcelain orbs that explore the tension of air and inflation in clay. Andres will also share his signature functional work, such as copitas.

Do Right Hall hours October 10-12: Friday noon to 5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 110 W. Dallas Street in Marfa.
