The Big Bend Democrats will meet in Alpine on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. for a “We Say No to Kings” march from the Alpine Civic Center to the Granada Theater to protest President Trump’s administration. Democrats and all residents from Fort Davis, Marfa, Alpine and Marathon and all of the Big Bend are invited to attend.
Marchers will meet at the Civic Center, 801 W. Holland and head to the Granada at 207 E. Holland. A police presence will accompany the marchers. Those that prefer not to march can meet up at the Granda. The event is part of a national movement for Saturday, and attendees can RSVP at mobilize.us/s/xuT1hV.
