The Friends of the Ruidosa Church, a nonprofit restoring the historic adobe church on the Rio Grande, will host a screening of French artist Romain Froquet’s documentary film—Connections—on Saturday at the Crowley Theatre, 98 S. Austin Street in Marfa.
The showing kicks off with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by the screening at 7 p.m. Froquet is an internationally recognized artist who is creating an installation at the church for the nonprofit’s Community Day on November 1. For more information, visit ruidosachurch.org.
