A variety of photographic works await visitors to the Jeff Davis County Library which  is hosting a travelling exhibit, Mexican Fiestas, from November 3 through December 12. Created by Houston photographer Geoff Winningham in collaboration with Humanities Texas, the photos showcase Mexico’s rich cultural heritage. 

The images span decades of Winningham’s work, documenting festivals, art and dance.  

The exhibit is free of charge and may be seen during regular library hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesdays from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, Veterans Day.
