Fort Davis ISD teacher Stessa Miles takes applause with students who performed the one act play Kindertransport on March 23. The play, by Diane Samuels, tells the story of nearly 10,000 children—mostly Jewish—who were rescued from Nazi Germany between 1938 and 1940. The children were transported to Great Britain, where most were placed with foster parents.
